We are delighted at your interest in our website. The protection of your privacy and personal data is very important to us. Hereinafter we provide you with detailed information about the treatment of your data.
The German version of this privacy policy shall be applicable as the only and original version. The english version shall only be regarded as a translation-service.
Data collection and usage for contract processing
We collect your personal information if you provide them to us voluntarily when ordering from or contacting us (through the contact form or email). Which type of data is collected is evident in the respective web form. We use the personal information you provide us exclusively to process your contract or request. After complete execution of the contract, your data is locked against further use and is deleted after expiration of the tax- and commercially-based safekeeping periods, provided that you have not agreed expressly to the further use of your data or provided that we did not reserve the right for the ongoing use of your data within the given statutory framework. Below we inform you about these cases where we reserve the right for further use of your personal information.
Data transfer for contract performance
Depending on which payment provider you select in the ordering process, we transmit all contractually necessary data to the given credit institute and possibly a payment service provider commissioned by us. Some payment providers collect this data themselves if you create an account with them. In this case, you have to login with your access data given to you by your payment provider while ordering. The privacy statement of the respective payment provider applies in this case.
Data usage when subscribing to the newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process the data you provide in order to send you information about our products, services, and news.
For the management of newsletter subscriptions and the dispatch of newsletters, we use the CleverReach service provided by CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Schafjückenweg 2, 26180 Rastede, Germany.
The data you provide as part of the newsletter subscription process will be transmitted to CleverReach and stored there. The processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of sending the newsletter, managing your consent, and analyzing and optimizing our newsletter communication.
Subscription to our newsletter takes place using the double opt-in procedure. After subscribing, you will receive an email in which you must confirm your subscription. This ensures that no one can subscribe using someone else’s email address.
We statistically evaluate newsletter campaigns. For this purpose, it may in particular be recorded whether an email has been opened and which links within the newsletter have been clicked. The evaluation serves to analyze and optimize our newsletter content and to improve the information we provide.
The processing is carried out on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
The data will be stored for as long as your consent to receive the newsletter remains in place. After unsubscribing from the newsletter, your data will be deleted unless statutory retention obligations prevent this.
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. A corresponding unsubscribe link is included in every newsletter.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with CleverReach pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
